At my fully enclosed, climate-controlled 3,000-square-foot training facility, I provide a range of customized programs designed to meet the unique needs of your dog. These programs center around on and off leash obedience, puppy head start training, resource guarding modification, behavioral issue modification, canine socialization, anxiety rehabilitation, and creating positive habits for your dog. I work with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments specifically focusing on a personalized approach designed for the learning needs of your dog. My program incorporates a variety of training techniques learned over two decades of dog training experience. I will provide expert training for your dog while working with you to provide you with the tools and knowledge to manage them effectively, sustain their obedience, and nurture a strong, enduring mutual bond.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
My name is Dan Kaase, owner and lead trainer at West Texas Dog Trainer. With an extensive background in training law enforcement, companion, and hunting dogs, I am passionate about nurturing the lifelong bond between dogs and their owners. My training philosophy emphasizes developing well-mannered, reliable canine companions while empowering owners with the knowledge and skills to be compassionate, informed caretakers. Unlike large-scale franchises offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I tailor every training regimen to the unique needs, learning style, and temperament of each dog. As the sole trainer working with your dog, I provide personalized attention and ensure you have direct, immediate access to me throughout the process. Molly. Molly Molly MOLLY. Mom just had to have a puppy. Had to pick the most “active” one! Then found herself at 81 being bullied by a nine pound terror. Biting, that started almost immediately, jumping not only on the furniture but ACROSS the furniture to the kitchen counter. Couldn’t catch her and make her go outside… mom can’t move that fast! She was AWEFUL. Mom was in tears more than she was enjoying Molly. Then along came DAN!! And after our little crack head went to train with him, She came out a new dog… still Molly but trainable. After I adopted my sweet Penelope I figured out that she is deaf. I did my best but after trying to work on a few basic commands on our own I realized I was in WAY over my head. Dan has trained 4 dogs for my family members so he was the first call I made. I told him that my biggest goal was her safety and that we would be able to enjoy going in adventures together. She has been home a week now and let me tell you. WOW! She is still the best part of her old personality and she is also refined, respectful and a pure joy to work with. Dan had his work cut out learning to train a deaf dog, but also training me! He shared some tuff love and I am beyond thankful for his honest and professional insight. My sweet Penny Pie is amazing! We have already experience so much this week that before would have been a challenge or impossible to do. A special challenge and the biggest concern I had was her safety! Just today she was running and playing in an unfenced area, and with the simple here command my deaf dog returned to me within seconds.
